Trainmen Social Club Scholarship

The TSC Scholarship is an annual award presented in honor and memory of one of our fallen railroaders. It serves as a tribute to their dedication and the positive impact they had throughout their lives. The scholarship reflects our commitment to excellence, community and honoring legacy by supporting the educational pursuits of deserving individuals of railroad lineage. 

"GPA Requirement" 

Applicants must maintain minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 

"Community Service Requirement"

Applicants must have a documented record of at least 20hrs of community service.  

"Essay Requirement" 

Applicants must submit a thoroughly researched and insightful essay on the topic of "TBD" (1000 Word Minimum) and/or a Video Presentation of 5min duration.   

"Railroad Lineage" 

Applicants must be able to establish their RR Lineage to a active or retired employee of (National Railroad Passenger Company). 

"Grade Level Requirement"

Applicants must be a high school senior (College, and/ or Trade School) or higher to be eligible for this scholarship. 

The scholarship committee will evaluate applications based on academic performance, community service, and essay/video quality. The selected recipient will receive a monetary award to support their pursuit of higher education.
